Exclamation Seat belt tone deactivation

Is there a way to have the seat belt tone turned off? I know wear the seat belt HOWEVER my wife can NOT wear a seat belt due to medical issues, she also has a note from a doctor so she won't get a ticket. (2011 E350)

Not sure if this would work, but couldn't you just hook the seat belt with no one in the seat (i.e., behind versus around your wife)? That way, when you have other passengers, the seat belt and chimes are still fully functional.

Just a thought...

How about something like this? Seat belt buckle null insert

Normally not a good idea safety wise but you seem to have a valid reason
