I found on screen 3.1 Navi Core information (2/3) the (f) DSP FW Ver.:20100705D39A entry. I didn't find anything matching the information above.
I also didn't find anything that looked like changing it would enable the climate control display.
Has anyone with a 2010 E350 gotten this to work or is it just for the 2011's?

Doh !!! (in my best Homer Simpson voice).
Works just fine when I change settings. Thought it was suppose to be on all the time.
Can anyone post pictures of how the screen looks, when on "Radio" mode, and even the Map screen??
Also, if I take my car in, is this like a quick "plug in and play" type of deal, or do they actualy have to install something in the car (i.e, is it something that I can just get done in a few minutes then leave).
Thanks.

If you could post pics that would be very appreciated!

Is there any improvement in readability of street names? Mine are a little too small for me so I have to lean toward the screen sometimes.
I have noted that the voice commands sometimes give incorrect information as to where to turn. These are not new streets/roads. Would an update correct this?

I had no issues getting mine updated after explaining the issue - strictly BT audio - and showing them the service sheet above. YRMV
nav01.jpg - notice how on the lower left corner the unit of measurement is 1/2mi as opposed to 0.5mi. Also there are much more icons on the screen denoting mild traffic, gas stations, the soccer arena, train tracks and various other things that are nearby.
nav02.jpg - takes from same spot as first picture but zoomed in more. The unit of measurement is now 1/4mi.
nav03.jpg - the unit of measurement in now 2mil. You can see the icon for Newark airport. So far I've only seen airplanes indicating airports but in this shot there is also a control tower. Also note the traffic severity icons denoted by the yellow and red cars. These icons are smaller then what my previous update had giving a more smoother, cohesive look to the screen when looking at it.
nav04.jpg - same as first image but I didn't have it in full screen mode.
sirius01.jpg - since you requested a screen shot of the radio I took this one for you. Nothing has changed on this screen.
I took these pix with my iPhone and they have an original size of 2592x1936. Since the board software only allows 800x600 I had to shrink them down. If needed I can put the originals up somewhere else but you can still see the important bits here. Also it was 6:30am when I took them and it was still dark outside so the map is displaying everything in night mode.
So looks like graphic quality doesn't change at all for the Radio function?
I like the extra goodies on the Map as well! I guess I'll just wait a few months and make sure to get it done during my first Service.

I was also curious about BT streaming, but I don't stream music via BT myself either.

Two of the round lights are DRL's and two are fog. On my 2010, the DRL's go off if the main lights are on.
Are you saying that with the update, you can turn on the main lights, the DRL's and the fog lights at the same time?
From what I have read so far, not sure the update would benefit me enough for the 60 mile round trip and several hours to get it done. I think having all four round lights on at same time would be neat though. On my car, I have to turn on the main lights and then pull out the switch to enable the fog lights.
