So i hop in today after work and my AM/FM radio doesnt work.... Device Unavailable. WTF!?!!?

After i turned the car off and back on, it came back.... This happen to anyone else?

 

Welcome to automotive computerizations. It is so very easy to forget that the COMMAND system and peripherals are just a CPU, and OS, and hardware. Every once in a while they boot goofy. No rhyme or reason. It's when it doesn't boot time after time that you have to worry. A firend's LS 460 will sometimes refuse to go into NAV. I truly believe that if it were not for the eletronics, my w212 would have no problem going 20 years. It is the electronics that will render it useless. A real shame.
