Exhaust
So i love the aggressive look of my W212 (2011 350, sport, rear spoiler). But every time i look at the rear end exhaust tips, the name "Buick Lacrosse" comes to mind .
I mean yes, I love that smooth flush look on the rear bumper and it does have that classy/sporty look. But occasionally ill see an old man in a Buick or Lexus LS and cant help but think, "Those tips look just like mine : /"
Soo, i've been on eBay and other sites trying to find some W212 E63 exhaust tips but theres not much on there..just full exhaust set ups. I have seen an E class on here with the W211 amg set up...but other than that, has anyone modified their exhaust/tips to the 212amg style?

I think that the W211 amg tips, along with the updated W212 amg tips are unique and can distinguish themselves on a vehicle and not blend in with the rest. I do like, but don't see anything "that special" in our sport pkg square design.
Now, if you throw on some W212 amg tips, along with an aggressive rear diffuser...thats when you get the "wow" factor. That is when your different from every other tinted/debaged/wheel'd E-class on the road.
No matter how sporty/aggressive our exhaust looks..nothing is more aggressive then a quad set up, imo.

True, but I think that it would be a bit misleading (to me, I don't care about what other people think, not to mention, they have no idea about what's underhood anyway), to have such aggressive tips on a silent E350. I see those tips, and I expect a rumbling and audible V8 to fire up.
I think the square tips are designed with the W212's style in mind, as they indeed work with the design so well, they don't "stand out". I do think the E63 tips aren't very nice, as they have a really awkward and disproportionate cut to me.
I do think a more aggressive rear diffuser wouldn't hurt, especially one with a color-keyed bottom strip (like the E63). However, again, IMO the OEM look is so clean, on a car like mine, with the Pano blended in with the black windows, debadge, chrome license plate frame with no lettering, smoked taillights, spoiler, and that simple and clean diffuser/exhaust setup, it actually does stand out due to being so clean and uncluttered.
I certainly wouldn't be opposed to some good quality/OEM quality/fit and bargain priced diffusers and exhaust tips tailored for our car to show up as aftermarket options to take a look at though!

To me personally the OEM looks a lot better and crisper than that busy thing. Also, the 212's design is so angular, anything but the trapezoidal tips don't work as well to me.
