So does any company have similar offerings here in the States? I'm sure the shipping will be much less here from within the US.
Same here. Should probably ask them if they are willing to just sell the ones for the side. By the way, I just e-mailed a company in Germany last week and got a prompt e-mail informing me that similar product for W212 will be available in the upcoming weeks. However, the one above is priced less. The company is "Windesa" and also sells on ebay where I found them. Windesa also has a website if you google it. I believe the merchant name on ebay is also "Windesa."

I wonder if I should consider getting a c-class one from carshades.com.au. I'm sure it wouldn't fit as nicely as custom made ones for this car, but I'll likely take the shades with me in the future to fit to another car.
By the way, vanstyle.co.uk is also prompt in their reply. Unforunately, they cannot sell only the side panels. However, they are having a 15% discount sale until the end of July. Thus I'm also considering just buying from vanstyle. The overall quality looks look.

I can see why they're a necessity to many though. It's an obvious cost-cutting for U.S models, which MBUSA does very much, very often.
Do you ever get pulled over for your tint in So Cal?
I haven't tinted my front windows as I am afraid that the cops will give me a ticket for it.
