Music interface ipod+usb or ipod + pcmcia

I have 2 questions for those that have experience in this topic.

1) I have my ipod hooked up in the glove box but I want a separate music input into the command system. I use the ipod soley for audiobooks but want to use another source for music.

The options I have are a pcmcia adaptor or a usb/ipod adapter in the glove box.

My question is if you have both a usb stick and an ipod plugged in the glovebox, how does COMMAND interface with these. Will it not handle having both hooked up at once or can you choose which interface you want to interact with?

One of my concerns are that since the book chapters are 7 hours long, I don't want to lose my place in the books by switching sources.

2) Are new E's coming with Pirellil pZero Nero's? I saw another e550 yesterday with these installed. I've got a 10 e550 and I think they are continentals.

Look at the Universal Consumer Interface socket in the glove box where the iPod cable plugs into. You have to remove the iPod cable to plug in the USB cable. The manual states that you can't use multiple devices at the same time (even if you could physically connect them at the same time).

You can also use bluetooth audio streaming.

Thanks.

All right. PCMCIA adapter it is. I've ordered a sandisk 6 in 1 adapter.

My 2010 E350 also came with PZero Nero's ... and I've only popped one in a pothole so far ...
