Info on "Natural Beige Leather"?
Can't find any description of it. There was a brown nappa leather option on the SLK350 for a while. Porsche has a natural leather option. BMW had one on the M5 decade ago.
But what is this on the MB?
Thanks,
David

2011 GL450 P2, Appearance Pkg, Leather. 2012 C250, P1, Sport, AMG Wheels, Panorama Sunroof.
The beige leather has a sort of orange tinge to it. Almost like a baseball glove. Excuse my wifes E350. Its a little dirty. Havent had a chance to clean it in awhile.

But how is it different? Is it the same leather quality as the standard? On the BMW M5 and the Porsche is different, a better hide with the dye through the high and no coating.
On MB, the ventilated seats have a different leather. I would not have been happy with the leather on the 2005 E-class without the ventilated seats.
When natural leather first came to BMW and Porsche it was in that orange tinged brown, with BMW also having black and Porsche a charcoal grey. I try to avoid dark interiors and dark cars because of how hot they get in the summer.
The natural color we could probably live with, but would only consider if it included a high quality leather. If we had bought the SLK350, we would have gotten the brown nappa leather, the only color it was available in (the auto trans SLK55 was never an option).
MBUSA has brought over a lot of safety equipment we want to have, added back the ventilated seat option and drive dynamic seats (although only for the driver in the US). It looks like 2012 brings back the heated steering wheel and the 7-speed tranny for the diesels. Now if they could bring the E250CDI with ECO start/stop it would be an easier decision (that engine has a very similar power curve to the 2005 E320CDI, but in a lighter, more technically current package).
