Someone thats REALLY lowered there E350 no airride
Well, i just got my rims in. If you check on my post youll see the pics. Now I wrapped the wheels in rubber bands on purpose TO GO LOW. This car is only driven on the weekends, i have a daily work truck. So I'm on planning to go low. A buddy of mine lowered his 350 with h&rs same tires and all. And he says it rides perfect( but he cut the springs to make it tuke a little in the rear just a tad noting crazy). I would just like more input on going low, people say hey go coilovers but the price difference I have a feeling with be two different animals.
thanks alot guys

H&R springs don't "REALLY" lower the car that much. It is a modest drop at best. Probably anywhere between 1-1.5 inches.
Get Tein coilovers if you "REALLY" want to lower your ride mikeymike.

i don't think there are coilovers available from Tein. KW makes coilovers both v1 and v3 for the w212. KW's US website won't have it but they do make it internationally. Part # for v1 is 10225051 and Part # for v3 is 35225051. I was able to get in direct contact with someone at KW who was able to get ahold of it and just waiting for it to get imported. Been about 3 weeks....said turn around was going to be 4-5 weeks.
