Is there a hack for this?
Hey guys I thought I read about a hack for entering addresses while the car is in motion (but I can't find it). Does anyone know how to do it? Is there a link?
Thanks
Thanks

I was just laughing at the good ole' 'passenger' is the map holder job, haha,

Another forum member gave me info on a VIM module that is installed near the command unit behind the dash and out of sight that allows you to use the navi while moving and also allows you to watch DVD's while driving.
I bought the unit on ebay and havent had it installed yet...
Worked for him on his W212 and probably the most inexpensive way to go. There are other products out there that cost at least two times more for the same functionality. Seen some as high as $700.00 for the unit.
Here is a link to the product from the same seller. I tried to find the exact same one I purchased but not sure if this is it. Has W212 in the description so it most probably is. Just covering my ***.

That's why they permit voice control and disable key pads while vehicle is moving. It's a serious safety issue. No one should ever over ride the safety devices in a vehicle. BTW, it may effect resale value or lower value when turned in after lease.
BTW, I always use Voice Control because it is a lot simpler than trying to use the keypad or knob.

Override
My Lexus used to have an override - by accessing the service menu - by hitting a series of "hidden" points on the touch screen. It was later removed when the voice activation was added.
