At least you're given an ML. My sh*t dealer always hands over keys to a shiny C300.

When I bring the SL63 in for service I'm given an "apology" for the loaner being a C300, LOL!!! That doesn't happen when the E550 comes in.

Aside from the Gas Mileage downside, I'd be all about that Loaner.

Most Dealers I've gone to give out C300's (guess I shouldn't complain about that) also, and I've even gotten Japanese boring Econ cars as well.

I'll tell you one thing, ALL Benz owners will be happier after a visit to the Dealer, when the facelifted W204 comes out, with a complete interior overall to the poor excuse of an interior that's in there right now.

.
You guys shouldn't complain....my crappy dealer (American Service Center in Arlington VA) uses Enterprise Rental for their loaners.

I was given a muddy Hyundai sub-compact SUV that was smelly and a base model without power anything and cloth seats.

Not the type of loaner I would expect after buying a new E550 4matic from them a week prior. I told them how I felt about the experience and all I got was "sorry" but we don't offer loaners due to insurance reasons. That was a bunch of crap...

I'd take that new ML any day!!!!

I've gotten enterprise loaners also...

And one time at the BMW dealer for servicing the M5, I got a 335xi sedan. That was the best loaner I've gotten yet.

Actually all the Dealers I've gone to have Enterprises as well. Only one had smelly Nissan/Mazda/Etc. cars for me to choose from. Most use the C300 though.

Back in 2007 when I was still driving my 03 E500, my dealer gave me a 08 E350 as a loaner. Not often you get a loaner newer than your car.

Hey you could definitely do worse. I’ve had Enterprise loaners too; the pretty lady at the counter barely made up for the lame car they gave me.

I generally get a C300 or GLK350. Both are just super cars. I really like the solidity of the C and GLK. Who can complain about a the free use of another current MB product while yours is getting serviced?

One great aspect of these sh*tty loaners we all get.... It makes you appreciate your Benz just that much more. I personally love that feeling.

Haven't taken the MB in yet, but at the Porsche dealership I usually get Cayennes (6-Cyl) and sometimes an S (once a GTS that belonged to the GM). Good loaners are smart moves, as I bought a Cayenne S similar to the loaner I had and really liked.

Yup. I often wonder if my dealer had been giving me W212s if I would have bought one by now..?

I agree. And I agree about the solidity of the C (haven't driven a GLK but it's the same car really).

Last time I had C Loaners, I went on "spirited" Canyon drives, and the next on a date where I didn't have to worry about where and how I parked "My Benz".

My dealer has many 2011 C and GLK classes to give out. They usually sell the loaners with over 10-15,000 miles on them. Only once did I get an ML, but it was a 2010 and it was a Bluetec. Atleast it had navigation and heated seats!

The C is really a great car. With the new interior is is pretty classy too, more like a smaller E. If they would bring over the 2.2L CDI engine for the C, I would drive one in a heartbeat.

but in regards to the test KA mentioned, I did think the inside was very nice

My dealer gives me a B200 and I am grateful.

The Porsche dealer offers me a ride home on the shuttle and I must find my own way back to the dealership. I would rather go for a root canal than go there for service. Alas, they are the only Porsche dealer in the city.
