Can I get that price? Also what specs does it give me for an E550? Does it reset the speed limiter? Last but not least, say I go to the dealer and they somehow reset your program, am I required to purchase the tune again? Anyway I'm ready to do this.

Each tune includes top speed limiter removal, adjustment to torque limiters, changes to fueling, ignition timing and throttle response. This is a complete tune that not only improves the performance, but also the drivability of the vehicle.

Thanks for answering! Are you road tuning or dyno tuning? What is the speed limiter of the e350? And how much extra power can you get out of 91 octane summer formulation? Is there really power left on the table by MB?

One last question is this a straight ECU flash or are you physically modifying the EEPROM?

What's the cost to revert / reflash back to stock?

The flash is a developed product, tested on the dyno/street across many different chassis. The is no problem with tuning 4-matic (one of the links above is infact a GL550 with 4-matic). The flashing method is BDM, which can only be done on the bench after removing the ecu from the vehicle, no complete OBD2 solution is available at this time. Each tune purchase comes with 1 complementary reflash (you can restore the tune if written over by the dealership or flash back to stock if you like). Additional reflashes are available for $100 and this can be done as many times as you please.

Looks like to me it was settled. Makes you weary but you can't always please everyone. They do have a lot of supporters or happy customers though so you have to look at the bigger picture.

Based on my experience I would say it is extremely difficult (if not impossible) to comprehensively tune a car through a bench reflash. This is not a knock on OE Tuning - I know next to nothing about tuning late model MB.

I strongly urge everyone to do their own homework before getting a tune. A bad tune on an OEM car CAN destroy your motor.

what about warrenty?
if I wanted a heller fast car I'd get a new Camaro, LOL, yeah, the one with 550 HP!

The Bosch ME9.7 ECU when modified correctly will not cause adverse effects to your engine or effect dealer warranty. Yes, the dealer can determine if the ECU is modified, after sending out to Germany for analysis. But this is very rare and often the last step taken.
Specific maps are targeted and modified with precision by OE Tuning. Unnecessary maps are never modified. OE Tuning has complete control of C63 AMG ME9.7 ECU operating parameters. If you require special edits to achieve your task, please enquire.
