It is possible that she did not buy the car new, and, that the preovious owner did this re-badging. She may not know. I have seen this before. Not everyone gives a crap.

Ok, I'm usually all for someone trying to modify their cars to suit their tastes. But don't "stoop" to this level, not even just an AMG badge! She went all out! Not to mention she had zero mods on the car. Dual fog lights up front. 6.3 Liter AMG badges on the side, and it's a regular E350 with pano roof & split spoke AMG rims.
I agree. Fakes are for fake people. Besides the only one you'll convince are those who do not know, so why bother. And those who do know will not be convinced. LOL
At least once a month I get a call at the dealership from someone who says something like," Yeah, can I get a price for a certain part for an E55 or some such high end Benz only to find out once I run the VIN that it is a rebadge. Used to have a guy from a buy here, pay here lot buy a lot of different badges from me. Now when I get a call from someone from that lot asking for an AMG emblem I always ask for a VIN. No AMG VIN, No emblem.

I saw this same white W212 with the E63 badge and had to do a double take when I saw it go by.... I looked at her like does she even know what a E63 is. LOL..
Wow lol buttttttt I have a E350 debaged with all the goodies and I've had a hand full of people ask me "that big motor must suck gas like crazy" or "hey that cars like 100k right?" lol usually people talking down on the 63 that usually tell me stuff, I just agree yea this "huge" motor sucks a lot of gas lol cough cough 350 debaged power lol. Rims tints and lowered a little goes a long way here in Miami I guess lol. Btw that's worse then those people who only remove one number example "e35" ??? Lol ok buddy

I get the $100K and "how fast is it" stuff a lot as well, lol. One guy at the produce-check stop in between two states says: "Any fruit or produce you have with you?" / Me: "No". / Him: (Looks at me for a second, then says....) "So tell me, just how bad is this baby"? I get that stuff all the time. The compliments are nice, but when people assume that the car is some muscle car or something it just throws me off ("I didn't buy it to race it, but sure, it moves").

What I love the most about that, is how envious so many poseurs are of those plastic little badges, to the point where they will put them on their otherwise expensive cars, in hopes that they strike them some exceeded "ooh he's rich" misguided (and non existent) "cool-points", and here you are putting them on little toys.
and the funniest part is my daughter says: look now I have a super car too!! haha.....

I used to have a 93 600 SEL (before they revised the badging and changed the grille) that had been built without the model designation and the V12 badges. I used to laugh at the fake V12 badges that they got off eBay (it’s not hard to tell). I just felt like “well whatever, if it makes you feel better fine”. ROFL
