Heated steering wheel ?

I've become used to a heated BMW steering wheel during the cold months however in looking over the 2011 E-Class brochure, I don't see one offered in either of the packages or individual options.

Does anyone know if one's available for a wagon?

Thanks.

Well, there is a wood and leather steering wheel available. I suppose that you could light the wood and have a heated steering wheel at least once

I am not aware of an option for a heated steering wheel, at least in the US. Of course Mercedes has different options and packages in various parts of thw world, so it might be available somewhere.l

You can get it ... I did ...

It is not a listed option, but you can order it and many dealers order it as an option on this area (north east Ohio.)

this puzzles me: Service Advisor......
to advise of the behalf of themseleves THEN Mercedes.....THEN the customer........
I have not been 'advised' on one ****ing thing!
and another thing, on the recipt after a service it always says "customer states to do 'blank' service"....
we didn't state that!!!!!!! the freakin' maintenece does!!!!!!!!!
my SA is a woman......if I even mention the indy shop she just breaks out the puppy eyes and trys to get me into their shop....
the dealers are so retarded, but I'm sure they do have some in's and out's that regular shops don't have...

I too am going to miss my BMW heated steering wheel. However, I'm hoping the wood trim on top and bottom will help minimize the effects of the cold on those blistery winter mornings. Oh... the sacrifices we all must make (Imagine complaining of this issue to someone driving a Honda Civic or something similar).

The last time I priced an E350 on the U.S. website, and one with the same options on the Canada site, the U.S. model was $6,000 less, and at the time there was parity between the US$ and Canadian $.

Reading this forum also suggests that U.S. dealers give much bigger discounts. What's going on?

It is available by special order, code 443. AFAIK, only the 4-spoke wheel (non-sport) is available with heat.

Note that in Canada you lose the heated steering wheel if you opt for the combination wood/leather steering wheel.

Yes, it was standard on my Canadian car. But you must mean $600 not $6k.
