2011 E550 Sport (traded), 2012 SLK 350; 2013 GL450 on order for OCT delivery
Early Christmas Present
Got a 2012 SLK 350 today. I was going to get a Corvette convertible. After test driving both, I opted for the SLK. The Corvette has unbelievable power, but otherwise does not compare. The SLK is more agile and more comfortable, the latter is important for us old folks.
Mars Red with Sahara Beige interior, Aluminum Trim, Sport Package, P1, Multi-Media Package. Fun, fun car to drive.
Test drove the 2012 E350 convertible. Very nice car but not as much fun to drive as my 2011 E550 sedan which I am keeping.

Nice. This new gen SLK is the first SLK that I wouldn't be embarrassed to even sit inside. Nice, clean Roadster and not as crazy compact as the previous ones. Great differentiation/addition to an E-Class in the stable.
