So I was out to dinner with my girlfriend on saturday night and parked along the street in an upscale town near my house. Had a great dinner, and was having a nice night until I walked outside to notice whoever was parked behind me hit my car, I guess as they pulled out. Broke my tail light and scratched my paint pretty bad on the rear bumper. No note, and nobody seen anything.... Tail light is about $400, and to paint the bumper is probably around $1000 +-. My deductible is $1000, so its not even worth turning it in. I can't win... How much would you guys pay for a small portable device that acts like a DVR inside your car and would start recording a 360 degree view as soon as you leave your car?

Don't relax too much! I used to think this way until I was driving a rental in St. Louis in the middle of a convoy - maybe 10 cars? Suddenly a convoy of cop cars pulled us ALL over. They had been tracking us by helicopter. There were so many cars pulled over on the side of the road that it was hard to find a place to park.

Georgia also used to be tough - they'd line up cop cars on overpasses. And, sometimes, they'd do it on two in a row just in case you thought you'd passed the speed trap...
