So I was out to dinner with my girlfriend on saturday night and parked along the street in an upscale town near my house. Had a great dinner, and was having a nice night until I walked outside to notice whoever was parked behind me hit my car, I guess as they pulled out. Broke my tail light and scratched my paint pretty bad on the rear bumper. No note, and nobody seen anything.... Tail light is about $400, and to paint the bumper is probably around $1000 +-. My deductible is $1000, so its not even worth turning it in. I can't win...
How much would you guys pay for a small portable device that acts like a DVR inside your car and would start recording a 360 degree view as soon as you leave your car?

I have been dreaming of a blackbox that takes video for a while now......
depending on angles and recording times, as well as the concealment.....
I'd shell out a couple for one........providing it led to a conviction if need be.....
this would especially useful for keeping an eye on the guys in the shop at the
dealer

Also be careful about not letting anyone at all pass you as that means you are always the fastest vehicle on the road and if there is a cop on the horizon you are instantly the target. When I go 15/20+ the limit I usually ensure I'm in a convoy with other people ahead and behind me

And, sometimes, they'd do it on two in a row just in case you thought you'd passed the speed trap...
