Q: 2010 E350 CPO
Hi
I just bought a CPO 2010 E350. The dealer states that it has the updated command SW and Nav system. It is not able to find some simple POIs and wanted to make sure the SW has been updated. I have been searching the forum to figure out the Nav version etc, and stumbled on the "Engg Menu".

I have attached a few pics of the menu. Can someone be kind enough to let me know if the COMMAND and Nav version are the latest? BTW, I am in good ol' USA.

You can check for Navi Map version without going into the Eng Menu.

1. Put the Navi screen up
2. Go to the NAVI Menu
3. Select Map Version

Most current map will show: 2011/2012 (Ver 6.0)

Can't help with command software version.

Must have missed something, I remember looking for it when Nav screen is up. Will try again when my wife is back w/ the car.

Thanks a lot Don. I wish there was a Comand FAQ, or is there one already?

EDIT: I have rechecked, I don't see "Map Version" option in the Navi Menu.

You should be able to see the Navi map version, so if you don't, the COMAND software needs to be updated.

okay. That's one way to confirm I need an update Will contact the dealer...
