hello guys:

picked some some new vossen 19's, deep concave wheels.
255/35 285/30-
got some Michelins(Pilot Sport AS PLus with 45K mile warranty), and they're okay, still getting used to them. From what I have heard they're kind of loud, and it's true, surely louder than the Mich's I had before.
They only offered 100 bux for my old tires, (3K miles) so I told them
no way, and laughed!
I do like this 10 spoke look in comp to the 5 spokes, it's a nice contrast between my cars....
damn modding is fun.....I'm having the coolest thing done to my side mirrors this week too.......can't wait for that!
thanx for looking guys.......

Looks awesome!!! I have the exact same tires but I think some of the noise is just due to having less rubber and more rim.

Tehy may be loud, but those are some of the best tires on the road..

I had Michelin Pilots as OEM on my Caddy CTS....worst garbage I have ever had. Flat spotted EVERY time the car was parked for more than 24 hours, refused to balance correctly. Eventually pulled them and replaced with Pirelli P-Zero Nero's....all problems went away immediately.

Nice. I'm a 5-Spoke guy personally, so those aren't totally my speed, but if they look good, then they look good, and they look good. They surprisingly really work with your ride (again, considering I always like M-B's with 5-Spokes), and the colors are so flush with each other (paint and the paint on the wheel). Also, probably nice and fun to contrast your W212's as much as possible.

I shopped around a long time.....(since Aug7th, and even before) for wheels.....I toolike the five spokers......but these are very different.....

We were discussing on another thread the LED side mirror mod where you described there to be a white LED (constantly on) in addition to amber indicators. Did your modder provide any info in regards to how this is done? Or are you just getting the LED puddle lamps installed?

I call "LED lights constantly on" in regards to the rearview mirrors turn indicators.

Let's take bets and see who wins!

Nice wheels. Michelins are expensive tires. I've had the low profile pilot sports in 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 on my Lex and they ran very surprisingly comfy. Very sticky tires and treadwear rating was a high 450 range. My only neg about my tires were that the treads made the car track towards the right. At first, I thought it was my alignment, so I had that checked out. Later found out I wasn't the only one that had this issue...it was the tread pattern that made it track to the right.

yes, that's the one!
I won't be there during the install, but the mirrors come off and are very labor intensive.....I hope they can get some good pics for me to throw up for you guys......

The wheels look great in color, style and size!

I have/had Mich PS2's on my other cars and like them. I find the Pirelli PZN's are somewhat are very sensitive to having just the right air pressure to give them an "in round" feel.
