This not not appear to be addressed in the regs so as long as it doesn't isolate other regs ( ie - no blue or red lights) then it shouldn't be an issue - especially if they are as dim as they appear in the pictures. Looks very nice.

I will check the regs in the morning, but I can't see of a reason why that would be a violation.

yes, I understand, they are very subtle however, but that might not be enough if it came down to it huh....

i love DIY, but when it comes to wires and pulling interior pieces apart, i get very nervous. I would totally pay to have this done tho, anybody know a good place in South Miami that does it?
