Service Interval 4.6L BiTurbo
Have just ordered an E550 sedan. I am doing lots of background digging while I wait for it. A couple of newbie questions, as it has been a long, long time since I drove turbo puffer. (My first was a Corvair, my second was an Olds Jetfire, these should pretty well date me
)
a) Is the service interval (i.e. oil change) substantially different to last year's naturally aspirated engine.
b) Will be buying snow tires for the beast as I can't imagine driving the all season toboggans in the snow. Any recommendations on brands, pro or con.
TIA

a) Being as this is a DI and it's turbocharged, it will put the oil through hell and back. I would change it at least every 6000 miles for the average driver. Sooner if you beat on the car. DI engine tend to have fuel dilution issues so if this engine suffers from that, then 5000 mile intervals will be the bear minimum
b) I have Michelin X-Ice Xi2's on my Audi and my dad just ordered them for his '12 E550. Great tire
