European front plate mount bracket

Does anyone know where you can buy that front plastic euro plate mount? My car came with the American front plate holder and I don't want to have a front plate. I rather have the euro bracket than the big American one

Check with your local dealer. They should be able to order you a euro plate. Perhaps a real one and not the fakes I've seen on other sites.

That is unlikely. License plate frames are dealer sourced in Europe and there isn't a standard bracket (unless it has changed in the last few years)

If the OP currently has a plate holder then it can be removed and the screw holes covered with bumper plugs.

A an alternative, he can order a euro frame from a multitude of internet vendors by Google'ing 'european license plate frames'

I think that a Euro plate in the front looks goofy, but if the OP likes it then he should do it assuming he does not run afoul of any obscure state law. Some state laws require the 'decorative' front plates to conform to some sort of norm even if the state does not require a state issued front plate. In any case, the Euro plate will make his car stand out and get more attention - both good and bad.

I don't want an actual front plate, just the black bracket / mount. The euro mount doesn't stick below the painted bumper area as the American one does. There are 4 holes so plugs will look weird.

The places that sell the plates online also sell the brackets. As an alternative, you could email a German MB dealer and buy one from them. It will have the logo of the dealership though. All will require that you drill more holes - holes that won't be covered by the US plate if you sell your car.
