24/96 Audio Files Playable on an W212?
Hi,

I just got a new 2012 W212 with Logic 7

It plays Normal Cd Quality .m4a files fine, but when I copy 24/96 .m4a files out of iTunes it won't recognize them.

Is this a limitation of the system?

Any work around? If I convert them to DVD-Audio will it play DVD-R discs?

Why not play them directly from your iPod? I actually have all my music encoded in lossless format (210GB in all) and it plays great via my iPOd.

An iPod can only play 16/44.1 Cd Quality Files. 24/96 Is DVD-A quality, they sound fantastic.

Will the Logic 7 System play DVD-R's?

it plays fine for me, so i suspect your files were copy protected.

it could be a dumb question and i haven't tried it yet, how about dvd-rw? can i play videos with it as well?

Dema, what kind of Audio files (extension) are you playing fine and how did you do it?

Did you convert to DVD-A .mlp format?

The tracks I want to play are 24/96 Hi Rez files from HDTRACKS.com
