Smog Check requirement for E350 BT in CA?
Can anybody tell me if smog check is required with 2012 BlueTec in CA? Car runs so clean it really should be exempt from it but I'm afraid it may not be.

Diesels need to be smogged from 2009MY and up IIRC. When I sold my 2010 Golf TDI I had to do a smog check before the title could be transferred. Luckily I am leasing mine and in a little over a year it goes away so I do not have to worry about that.
