New grille installed...finally

I got this for Christmas but had been waiting on a flat emblem I ordered to show up to install it. I figured the stock pop up star would be to much with the star on the grille.

I had a couple people comment that it wouldn't look good in another thread where I had a link to it on ebay. I think it looks great but I it might not be everyones cup of tea.

I need to take some better pix tomorrow when the lights out.

haha, glad to join. My look isn't finished but I wanted to tie the accent chrome pieces of the wrest of the car with the black grille. The chrome star ties the grille with the wrest of the car imo. Next on the list is black wheels. I think it will end up flowing together well.

Nahh, you guys are all the rage. Every Benz in the range comes with a Star grille to the nth degree. We Luxo (or Luxo-Sport in the W212 Sport's cases) grille peeps are now in the technical minority.. erm exclusivity/uniqueness camp.

It actually looks a lot better all blacked out, IMO. Eradicates a lot of that cluttered/over-flashy/distraction look that I spoke of in the last Thread. If it were me I probably would have tried a softer color somewhere in it though, so the Star doesn't look so strongly popping/contrasted. However, congrats on the new mod. IMO some black wheels would compliment it nicely as well.
