It's one thing to be respectful and ask your spouse's opinion, but permission?

....these are probably the same bone-heads who have to ask their wives for permission to play golf or go to Vegas with a buddy.

My Best friend(recently passed away) and I always called it the "Daddy Fund" or "undeclared Money". Being Computer Techs we always have clients on the side, so when we get paid it goes to the daddy fund. Those funds can be used for anything, be it that new I7 intel chip and motherboard, that new driver in the golf bag, or that new exhaust system on the car. All the wife knows is that, "hmmmm honey the cars sounds louder now, or it looks lower, what you do?" My response is just a nod and a smile ;>) "The Daddy Fund" at work.

Well congrats to the guys that are married and to BM2BZ for those 22 years. I have a significant other and the reason why I haven't done much to my car is because if I did, they first thing out of her mouth would be "where in the hell is my ring". With that being said I should get rid of her and mod my car. Just kidding!

not offended. she's ok w/pretty much anything i want unless it's too ridiculous or totally out of my budget. but we are quite practical on almost everything except fashion. we are both shopaholics
