Tomorrow : Decision Day
So, here is the deal . I finally have found a car as I wanted minus exterior color . Honestly, it's still not my fave model and delivering all the gadgets as I would like to have .
So, you can say "hey, why not special order and wait a few weeks " This is where the dilemma begins because new orders will be added more than %20 due to new tax regulations
So, the car is white 650 (white )
. Interior is 601 -Alcantara / Artico
7 speed tranny column shifter . (the most important feature for me )The most important thing it's E200 CGI ,literally less powerful version to E250 CGI . It only churns out 184 HP / 270 NM Torque and 1.8 liter 4 cylinder .
There are some added options :
AMG styling 950 : AMG seats, AMG dual exhaust tips, padde shifter, AMG 18" rims, AMG aluminum pedals
Panoramic roof :413
Memory package : 275
Cup Holders : 309
These are expensive options sadly no command in english no rear view camera .
So, the biggest dilemma is it's white color . This is my least fave color and I talked to service and they said I could change the color by 3M folio .
I found a guy who seems performing very professional jobs . Here are a few examples .
I want black but not matte , gloss black is what I want .
Here are the images of a black car they did .

This is a cost effective application because it's less than $1500 .

You can't tell this car is covered in gloss black

Another advantage of 3M folio is it protects your original paint from exterior things suchas stone chips, bird dirt ,discoloration ,acid rain .
So, if I happen to buy that white car I will be using this method otherwise I will have to wait a few months more to get a car up to my desired options .
I wanted E250 CDI 4 MATIC but that E200 CGI seems a good deal

Sounds like a well equipped and Optioned car. I'm sure the Gas Mileage of that lil' motor should be stellar.
I WOULD NOT take a car that has a color that you don't like, however. That Gloss Black wrap looks very well done, however, now that you say it, I notice the reflection is a lot different than actual paint. It's much more mirror-y it seems.
Also, Gloss Black wrap with get swirls VERY easily, and as far as I know, you can't buff them out like you can with paint. Not to mention, if you get even a little scratch, or a pit in the film, you have to rewrap a whole panel. The biggest issue of this is that it might not match your older wrapped panels well anymore, and unlike paint, they can't obviously modify it to match.

Thanks guys for your valuable inputs ![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)
So, I passed down this car because of missing some cool gadgets . There are no heated seats , no power sun shade for rear window that you can raise and retract by a button on the center console, no manual rear sun blind (P09)
So, there is another car almost everything but Command .It's E250 CGI that puts out 204 HP , 1.8 Liter engine ,310 NM/Torque
Here are some specs to the car :
Exterior Color : 497 Metallic Cubrit Brown
Interior Color : 105 Cashmere Beige / ARTICO
OO3Artico
U09Artico leather covered dashboard
P09
P17Keyless-go
P49
230 park assistant
275memory package
413Panoramic roof
4277G-Tronic colomn shifter
510MB Audio 20 Music system MP3 compatible14.7 cm colored screen 6 CD , Aux in glove box Bluetooth (Hands Free)
518Media interfaceUSB Aux ports
B03Eco start-stop
873heated seats
887extra trunk lock
This is a few grands more but very loaded car .
Bad point is it's got beige color but I want dark . In worst case , I will have an upholstery shop changed the interior all the way dark black .
Otherwise I can custom order a car to my desire including Command, rear view camera and night view system . Since I will be ordering a car under 2 liter engine I will be not affected by 20% crap
If I decide to buy this car I will leave the exterior as is because that brown color is also cool .

Not sure where you live and that tax, but are diesel engines taxed the same as gas engines? Maybe that's an option.
I would never recommend repainting or "wrapping" a car to change it's color....opening the hood, doors, trunk, etc will reveal the base color. If you really hate the color, wait for a car...

If you don't mind waiting, do this!
It's one thing to settle on options/colors when buying a used car, but
if you can afford new I say get exactly what you want!

Thanks , this is exactly what I did today . I ordered a brand spanking new E250 CGI Black / Black
I will have to wait 3 months but that's ok because it's nothing new to me because I already knew that . No problem in other words
I also added COMAND , rear view camera into the package as well as keyless go . Let's hope keyless go works as it is supposed to be lol
