Finally...phonebook transferring worked!

i posted a little tip here:

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...th-rant-2.html

for the ones who don't want to click and read from that post, the tip is transfer or load your contacts from your sim to the phone. then do the transfer w/the car later. it took slightly longer than before to do the transferring which is a good sign. sure enough, it worked ! the phone book is now saved in the comand system. i even removed all my contacts from my phone (contacts in sim only) and all the contacts are still in the system !

i don't know. it could be something most of you have known for years but seems like some of us are still having problems. i hope this will help at least few of us. good luck !

You have successfullyl loaded your "Address Book"

The phonebook is re-added each time you start the car and a bluetooth connection is made with your phone. That's the area where many of us are having problems. Sometimes it loads and many times if you try to dial by name, you get a message "phonebook not loaded".
