Raliegh/Durham Cars and Caffine!
Hello!
CALLING ALL NORTH CAROLINA DRIVERS THAT HAVE A MERCEDES BENZ.
Last night while out and about I bumped into another Benz lover and driver.......and what do you know!!! He was from the forum too.....
I'd really like to organize some sort of social gathering for the lovers in this area. The weather is improving and there are plenty of cool places to meet up to show off our cars to each other..........
and make people wonder " what's going on in that parking lot over there with all those Mercedes Benz?"
Post up area dudes!!

1155 Highway 101 S, Greer, SC 29651 should be a nice place to have a Benz meet. It's a drive from the Durham/Raleigh area but in the end it would be worth it to see expression of the "locals" face

I wish you were a little closer Hyp. I'd love to hang with some other late model E Class owners. Especially ones who appreciate the car and like to talk about it. I am a member of the Alabama division of the MBCA but most of those guys prefer talking about the history of MB and all the older models. Owning a new E Class will get you in the club, but will not necessarily get you in the "inner circle" if you follow my drift. They are a great group, but I can't help but feel like an outsider.
In my opinion, there are two types of MB owners. First, there are the folks who are "MB Owners." The MB owners just drive their cars and maybe clean them occasionally. They don't even know the Forum exists, and don't care. Then there are the folks who are "MB Enthusiasts." They clean their car constanly, mod as desired, visit and share on the forum at every opportunity and will make certain sacrifices for the sake of preserving and displaying the ICON. As far as I can tell, I am in the minority of "MB Enthusiasts" in Montgomery, Alabama. I sure wish some of you guys were closer. Have a great "Mercedes Weekend," wherever you may be located!

Cars and Coffee in Raleigh has been a great spot for cars. Everything from Cobras to M6 are there, last weekend I counted close to 80 cars there. The big event is the first saturday morning of each month however the other saturdays have been decent, not as many cars but defintely worth the trip

The saturday show produces around 80 cars. Most of the shows get going around 8 and stay busy with cars coming and going till around 12.

So I heard through the grapevine that the Brier Creek car show has been moved to two locations. One in Cary and another in Durham. There are facebook pages for both locations. I've been out of town so I can confirm the switch although there were pictures of the Durham event, although the cars weren't anything close to the usual suspects that I've seen in the past. Just keeping you guys in the loop
