Warren at DetailKing has some new 20" wheels coming out in the next few weeks for our cars.

I am patiently waiting...check with him for info, as i am sworn to secrecy.

Got my wheels today..

Will they fit?

8,5x20 et35 front (245/30-20)
10x20 et38 back (285/25-20)

Don't want to fit the tires, maybe they dont wont to take them back then..

Please reply!

If they dont fit have to ship them back

PS: Not a saloon, but the Estate model (S212) with airmatic.

Wheels will fit, but rears (with 285 tire) will stick out by almost 1/3".

PS: Unlless your car is 4matic, use 255/30 instead of 245/30.

Thanks mate!

Will they rub in the back with these tires?

Would you suggest i different tire setup front + rear with this offsets?

Why do you recommend this?

If you're not lowered, then no rubbing should take place.

As far as different tires with same wheels/offsets. Again only if you're not lowered, rear 265/30-20 tires (this is what I'm using on 9.5" et33 wheels, which is almost the same as 10" et38) will minimize protrusion passed fenders from about 1/3" to about 1/4". Ideally you would want 10" wide wheel with et44-45.

Same reason one would use 285/25 rear instead of 275/25 - a bit more protection for wheels. BTW 255 is E63 OEM and fits non AMG W212 with room to spare (I even fitted 265/30-20 on 9" upfront without any rubbing just to see if it fits).

For 4matic you want to keep front/rear as same diameter as possible, hence 245/30 & 285/25.

Thanks! I know I should have a bit higher offset in the rear..
I really hope it will fit and not rub

Think i would try the 285/25-20 first and see how it runs.

Will it look stupid with stock hight?

285/25 at 38et will stick out about 3/8".. and you will have large wheel gap at stock height.. My opinion, wont look good. You have to consider also certain tires have this 'lip" acts as a wheel protector.. makes the tire look like it sticks out even further..

Have airmatic so will lower it a bit.

Have tried the wheels, looks good actually!

Think it would be better with 275/30 tires?

Do you have picture(s) of the rear? Just curious to see how much the rear wheel with tire sticking out.

275/30 will elivate any need to lower (you'll need to go with 235/35 front then).

285/30 (if it even fits) will most likely rub.

I know what you're using. I was replying to bigigg's suggestion of 285/30 for the rear.
