Rear window heating element

Figured I'd post this here too...

On your cars, does the rear window have lines on it where the element has defogged the glass? Mine does not and I'm wondering whether there is something wrong. The glass eventually clears but it takes a long time.

I've not seen the coupe up close, but do you notice any air movement near the rear glass? I would hope it's not just moving air, as that would do little for ice, but that could be the design if the heat wires were not within the glass.

I've not - just been observing it in my rear view mirror. I'll check it from the outside.
If it isn't working, I wonder if it is as simple as a blown fuse. The light on the button lights up and there's no warning that anything could be wrong.
