Question Conquest Program/ USAA discount??

Hi,
anybody know the details of these two programs?
Are they both-- negotiate your best possible price and then subtract the Conquest amount or the USAA amount?
I don't believe one can use both, correct?

E class Conquest Program for all E's is $3000.
USAA MB Program for E Wagons is $2000 ($4K for sedans--)

So, should you expect to negotiate invoice plus $300 (for example) and then subtract the Conquest $3000 (for example)?

Thanks for any info on this.

I've heard that you can combine both of those discounts. I remember a post on this forum. Try to search for USAA and I'm sure you will find it.

I can speak for the Conquest program. It is a discount directly from MB, not the dealer, so it is on top of the best dealer negotiated price.

The dealer will try to make it look like he is giving the discount, but he is not. It is directly from MB and does not affect dealer profit at all.

The best strategy is to negotiate the best dealer price before you let him know you qualify for Conquest Cash.

Regards,
Don

No USAA and Conquest Together

I've used the USAA several times now, and the attached is taken from the control number form. You can only add a few promotions to the USAA price. MB loyalty and MB Club of America are both allowed to be added I know for sure because that is the deal in front of us right now.

The USAA price is (supposedly) a set price that is non-negotiable because of the added fleet discount, but I've seen it go a little lower. All the options are sold at invoice and the base sell price is invoice + some (varies by model). Right now on the E350 BTEC we are looking at the USAA price and $4k (USAA discount), $2k (MB loyalty) and $1k (MBCA bonus). Hard to imagine almost invoice - $7k for this car.

If you go to True Car Price site, I think it will bring up same discount as USAA. In fact, a while back USAA site was defaulting to the True Car Price site for the discount.
As stated above, negotiate your best deal with dealership and then lay all the other MBUSA discounts on the table.

Question discounts

what I have found is:

USAA has two parts/programs.
1. USAA can negotiate with many brands for big discount. For example, it might be standard of invoice plus $500. You might beat that figure on your own.
2. Part two is a specific plan for Mercedes where each model has a specific deduction. 2012 E sedan is currently $4K. 2012 E Wagon is currently $2k.

Conquest program:.... has been greatly expanded for March. If you own a brand listed, E class now gets a special $3000 deduction. Again, negotiate your best price and then get the $3000 deduction.

Question is, can the E Wagon get best negotiated price AND USAA $2K offer AND Conquest $3K offer?

I spent 40 minutes on the phone yesterday with MB Customer Service and answer was a muddy "Conquest doesn't specifically exclude USAA so probably could do both". Dealer answer varies from dealer to dealer....

Anybody been able to use both??

Check the attachment in my post above. USAA specifically excludes using conquest in addition. But, if a dealer does it they will have to absorb it themselves if it does not go through I guess.

Thanks,
attachment would not open for me previously. Now it does.
USAA is $4K E sedans, $2K wagons.
Conquest is $3K on all E models.
So, for E Wagon, Conquest is better this month---can change each month.
