2012 E350 Luxury sedan - noise at high speeds
I've had my 2012 E350 for about 2 weeks now. This morning I was driving by myself on the highway with the radio off and noticed a low almost popping noise. The noise was like the sound of light raindrops hitting the windshield. (It was Not raining at the time). It sounded like it was coming from the hood/windshield area. Has anyone experienced something like this? Is this normal or am I being too picky? I'm thinking about taking to a dealer and having them road test it with me. Any input is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Have '10 E350 Luxury, but have not noticed any noises. One thing is that there is not as much sound proofing under the front of the car as on may in its class. Seems to pick up a lot of road/tire noise.
Had a Hyundai Azera that was better soundproofed.
