Hyperion, I know a little bold but that is what I wanted based on a lot pics I saw and they are growing on me. Also, I can remove at any time or repaint them.

Another Mod
I thought you guys would like this one as there has been a lot of discussion regarding blacking out the grill. This one was very easy and I did it with Plasti Dip so if I did not like it or in the future I want to remove it comes off.
I did the front lip, the grill and then the hood ornament.

Not at all and that is the reason I chose to proceed. It peals off and what you see was the second round paint job. Really easy to apply and very durable.

Side Markers
Another slight mod but awesome results. Changed out the side markers for these clear side marker LEDs. These are really nice fit and stunning at night. Very easy DIY. Let me know what you guys think.

Looks awesome, nice job making it look just right.. Did you ever think about removing the chrome strip from the doors?

That makes sense, maybe if you vinyl wrapped your window trim black, that might look good then without the strip on the door. The wheels would really stand out. Either way, car looks sick..

Thanks RobbieRob, I might try it with black electrical tape. That is what I did to the front spoiler prior to painting it with Plasti Dip. This way I can get the feel and look of it prior to getting it done and not liking it.

Looking at some aftermarket wheels coming of an E63. Sizes:
20x9 et 29
20x10.5 et 45
Am I just asking for trouble with that setup? Too wide for the non-AMG? Any difference on the 4matic?

On the rears, you would be sticking out also as I have a 50 et on the back with 20x10 and I have a small amount of room (maybe 5mm) to go totally flush. With the 10.5 you have noted above you would stick out roughly 7.5 mm and then another 5mm due to the 45 offset.
There is no difference in the 4 matic or my e 350.
Hope that helps. Let me know

Best Fitment For 2011 Mercedes E350 ( W212 )
Hi,
I'm new to this and want to get new 20" wheels for my 2011 Mercedes E350 ( W212 ). I am leaning towards the Vossen CVT with the following specs:
Vossens CVTs
5x112
20x9 et32mm
20x10.5 et42mm
Hub bore 66.6mm
I want to lower my car for better looks and handling, however I don't want it to:
1: Stick out
2: Rub
3: Scrape
Please let me know if the above wheel specs will work for me and the best tire set ( size ) to get for both front and back. Thanks so much for your input.

The only problem that I see in this and when I was looking at vossen rims is that they are .5 inches bigger front and back.
The front will be very close to the edge of the fender. I have the same et in the front but my rims are 8.5 inch
The back rims will stick out I had my 10 inch rims at 45 et and they stuck out but they did not rub. But that was without lowering. I am pretty sure that if I did lower it would have rubbed. I sent the rims back and got the 50 et. With that setup I am pretty close to the edge and think I can add a 5 mm spacer to get to the edge. So you should be fine with your rims with a 50 et
Call the guys at vossen. They are really good and I spoke to them and they were helpful.

I have these wheels in 19" and they look good to me.
you can see them in this thread
https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...d-bluetec.html
It is 19x8.5 and not lowered.
post pics of yours when done.
One thing to note is I have had to replace 2 rims already from being bent from pot holes. So only get 20" if your in the south or California.

2011 e 350
I'm new to the Mercedes family after having a vette, bmw's in the past, I recently purchased an arctic white 2011 E350 with 22,000 miles. I want to change the look with rims but not lose the sleek elegant look. If I stay with 19 inch rims will it still look good? Also is there way to install the keyless go system.
