One of a kind bluetec.. 19" Vossen CVT ...Project finished pics
Not many ppl mod A bluetec on here. But since I am planning to keep it longer than any other car I have had in a while (3-4years), I decided to make it look a bit better.
I also think it's the first W212 I have seen on the new Vossen CVT wheels that just came out.
Went a square setup on wheels since I drive 36k mi a year. Want to lower but worried about ride quality
Done so far..
Removed chrome side strip. (Looks way cleaner)
Added trunk and roof spoiler
Changed distronic grill to black star distronic grill (the Distronic grill looks funny with the black square reflector in it)
Changed hood emblem to flat mb emblem
Tint windows.
19" Vossen cvt 19 x 8.5 on Michelin a/s 3 tires square setup 245/35/19
Gel cushion from costco for front seat (makes a huge difference in long drive comfort)
Still to do..
Front clear side markers
Possibly plastidip rear emblems black
Possibly lower.
What you think? How does it look?

That looks great. It is not often you see a modified Bluetec- so your car is truly one of a kind.
I admire that you are running 19 inchers. I also live in the DC area and on my wife's car the stock 18 inch wheels are all out of round because of beltway potholes.

2012 MB E Bluetec
Yep, nothng llke a tuned Diesel!
I haven't done anything yet, but planning:
19s, maybe those Vossen CVTs, with the A/S3s
New grill
H&R springs
Remus, Supersprint, or custom catback
reprogram ECU
should have 290 HP and about 475 ft lb
It will really be nice, just gotta find the money

nice!
i love the rims...clean
how does it ride with 19? do they come in 18?....i was told to stay away from RF/MOE tires on 18 or 19 as they have less side cushion and really hampers the comfort, stability and handling of the car due to less sidewall and the construction of the RF/MOE
on my white pano BT i have done carbon fiber roof spoiler, white amg style trunk spoiler, window tint and carbon fiber center caps.
please send me the links about the remus exhaust and ecu reprogram please...i do want to keep my hi hwy mileage though.

Thanks
I think it is the first W212 on these wheels.
You should make a gallery page on your vossen site for non Slammed cars. We can't all get 22" and drop 3"
I will get better pics once I get the clear lights on and get my Kalsse All in one and Glaze on that black paint as was recommended in another thread.

Car looks great. I really like the wheels, however, it seems like every E Class I see these days has either clear or smoked side markers. I like the amber lenses. JMHO.

Finally got some time and weather to finish off the car with Klasse all in one and Klasse gloss from another thread. Also got the Clear markers installed. Decided I can not lower since I need my CPO warranty to cover struts, bushings etc till 150k + miles and aftermarket springs is an easy excuse for the dealer to deny coverage
I think it turned out like I wanted it, When parked on the street it just looks mean, like it's gonna run you over
This is what it looked like in the Before pic... when it got shipped to me! I was excited to come home and see my "new" car till my wife sent me this pic.

I totally Agree, but I am sure MB will use that as an excuse to not warranty my suspension, and I have an unlimited mile CPO that will prob have 150k miles on it before it runs out time wise. So I am also sure the bushings/ control arms etc will fail in that time under the CPO.
