So i am a beginner when it comes to Mercedes, i have only worked on american vehicles in the past. I recently obtained an 88 Mercedes 300E that is in amazing shape. I would like to do some minor modification to increase the performance and value. ive been looking into basic mods such as Performance Chips, superchargers, air intake ect. does anybody else have this vehical who can help me with some ideas?

p.s has anybody here ordered parts from a website called myhotmercedes.com ? i'm wondering if its a legit site....

 

You are in the wrong section, you need to post on the W124 site.

BTW, I have a 1991 300E and I'm not familiar with any mods for the M103 engine. I try to keep my 300E absolutely stock and use only Mercedes parts and fluids other than Mobil 1 oil.

 

Yeah I think you will find better results in the W124 forum.

I did have an '87 260E though loved that car. Only mods I did though was K&N filter and Sony Stereo lol.

 

Wrong forum but this could be a good project , you should be able to increase HP figures by racechip modules easily
