Pre-Paid Maint ?

I ended my lease early on my 2011 E Class, I had it for 13 months of a 33 month lease. I had the 3 year maint put in the lease and added to my monthly payment. Should I be eligible for the remainder as refund now that I no longer have the car?

MB is saying I can't have the remainder of my money back, but also can't transfer to the new owner since the car wasn't sold via private party. Doesn't seem fair, MB is the only one who wins here.

Thanks for help help.

Michael

Same happened to me. True, no refund. But I was told the Maint plan stays with the vehicle. Doesn't matter who owns it because it was fully funded in the lease.

Funny stories as I paid for my E350 and as I traded it in I did not get any refund for the B service I had left on the plan nor did the pre-paid plan stay with the car. Plan was simply canceled.

This just means I will never buy another pre-paid plan from MB. I think you will lose it also if your car is totaled in an accident wether it is your fault or not.

If your car is totaled you might be able to get reimbursement for your maintenance plan from your insurance company. This would especially be the case if you are dealing directly with the insurance company of someone who damaged your vehicle due to their negligence.
