it is on their site but you were probably too excited about your new ride and didn't pay close attention. here is the video:

EDIT: Just to clarify and save some face, the video doesn't mention the slightly quick motion (or "jab") you need to perform w/ your foot to get this feature to work. I actually did exactly what the video tells you to do, exactly how they did it, and it doesn't work for me, ever... Only when I utilize the technique that forum members suggested does the HOLD function engage. Poor instruction via the training video, IMO...but anyway...

I must say I wasn't aware of this feature until this post. I tried it out and its exactly as people said while stopped just press more firmly until the HOLD indicatior comes on. I love this feature!! Though it does feel weird to no longer use my foot to brake the car I find I don't really no what to do with my foot afterwards lol!! Guess it will take some time to get used to it.

All I can say is, the MB HOLD function works much better than the button-operated BMW system..

I had another post regarding my issue related to rotors. My rotors were replaced under warranty once, and they are bad again. I am at 20K. Currently, they are not covered under warranty as I am over 12K, and considered as wear and tear for this situation.
My driving is just like most people. Usual, flat roads, daily commute, traffic lights, stop and go. Long rides at times. Difference is, I use 'HOLD' EVERY TIME I come to a stop. I love it, but just wondering if rotors dont like it.
If there is someone who is familiar with the mechanics of how rotors play in all this, and if at all the frequent jerking of brake can cause harm them.
Thanks.

Hold feature not working
I have a 2014 MB c300 sport sedan. I love this feature worked great and then one day just stopped. It would work sometimes but not always as usual. I finally figured out that I had a low beam bulb out, when I changed the build it worked again as usual. I guess everything is connected, if one thing is off then it affects other functions. Now if I can figure out how to get my eco function to work more often, it rarely engages to shut down engine when I stop....having second thoughts about MB.

How to be assured that HOLD function is available in my car?
Hi Guys, I have E300 W212 Avantgarde of Year 2012, I’ve tried to activate HOLD function many times but its not working. Now i am confused, Is there any possibilty that this feature is available as optional feature? Or there is an issue in my car require repair?
Also, Using VIN decoder, Can someone tell me the feature “CODE” in order to be assured that i do have this feature in my car?
