Dial Control in Glovebox??

I may have missed this in the manual, so can someone let me know what the dial on the roof of the inside glovebox controls? It spins both ways, so I was thinking lighting somewhere but could not determine.

Thanks!

it's a vent for keeping your tuna sandwich cool....haha, or as I have gathered, a 'sensitive
electronics sanctuary' or SES, (made that one up too)
for keeping top secret information from getting too hot.....or cold perhaps........

It is the volume control for the lightbulb in the glove box.

It's called the air vent thumb wheel. Close the vent when heating the vehicle. Otherwise open it to allow cool air to enter to keep things cool in high temperatures.

Did check tonight. Kept my sandwich the perfect temp.

Couldn't help it; sorry. Thanks for Everyone's advice. I suppose if the sandwich is heavy enough I won't even have to bother getting any special on a spring kit! Should lower on its on based on the weight and the specific gravity of cold tuna salad? That'll make the stock 17s look just hooked up!

Honestly, when I saw the dial button I thought it was something to do with the glove box light , kinda dimmer switch lol
I looked at the manual and I learnt it was related to keep the items cool in the box
