2011 E550 4Matic
Potential new E owner saying HI

So you may have seen me over in the C section, got a C300 about a year ago that i love. But my dealer just got in an amazing '11 E550 4matic, LOADED, that I'm debating picking up next week, payments arent 'that' much higher, but I did just get a new house so im a tad unsure if i should raise my monthly car bills along with my other currently high bills ^_^ Going to Vegas tonight, if i do well ill be here monday with a new ride :P

PS heres the specs, what do you guys think a good offer would be?
2011 E550 4Matic
16k miles
P2
115v outlet
Parktronic
Pano roof
dynamic driver seat
Driver assist
original MSRP 73k, asking 57k

I can't not voucher about haggling but that car is loaded
Being a 4 MATIC price for it should slightly be higher than RWD E550

You are used to driving 4 MATIC cars , E63 is only RWD but it should be more fun car than E550 surely lol
For me , I would choose the E550 but that's my cup of tea
Keep us updated and pics when you pick your car up

Given you live in St. Paul, MN I'd pass on the 63 for sure. The 550 is worth more like 54k. 51 won't happen.

Yea the 63 is just ungodly fun to drive, never had a car make so much noise while pulling onto the freeway....

Im playing the email-tag thing with my sales guy now trying to see what i can get with customer incentives and such. Biggest thing i keep telling myself is i can get a Renntech ECU tune in the 550 and make it somewhat closer to the 63's level

Think about it like this... A 550 is worlds faster than your C300 but a 63 is not that much faster than a 550. Not to mention the ridiculous gas cost, insurance, tires, etc.. You will love the 550. Promise.

does anyoen happen to have a side by side review of the NA vs TT? I have a feeling I wont be able to afford a 12, much less find a used one in the first place

c'mon, you are not even there yet. you have to think positive. start to think how many new cars and/or houses do you want after your trip.

free drinks is ok but you sure don't want to get drunk. that's how they rob you legally on the tables. drink coffee to keep you awake. you still have a few days, enjoy and win big !

A friend of mine went to Las Vegas in an old, beat-up Chevy and came home in a $450,000 vehicle. Unfortunately, it was a Greyhound bus!

Regards,
Don

54/55ish shouldn't be a problem as the 2013 is just around the corner and in fact, as you know, some of the members here have already ordered them. not hurt to try 50ish.

Offer them like $53 700. This shows you have done some calculations and you are serious. Then you probably get it for $54000.

Very nice car. Mine is the same without 4-Matic, 2010 model though.

Talked to my dealer today, havent gotten to the price points i kept mentioning, but got them to agree to take my amex for the down payment if i eat the 3% fee (which stupidly is the deal breaker for me, as i have a nice credit on the card, and will earn nearly 100k Airline miles off the charge) Have a conf call at 2PM, then driving over and if all goes well....driving home in it

So went in, and put in my down payment, BUT cuz im so young and no one trusts my credit history i need either a co signer (my parents wont do that) or to put more $ down. So the cars got a sold tag waiting for my last payments to post into my bank before i pay the rest. So 4PM Wednesday im going back to finalize it and take it home
