Tire Question
This past weekend while driving on the highway went over a pothole. It felt like a hard hit but I didn't get a flat or lose air. When I got home I noticed a one inch tear in the sidewall rubber and a nick in the wheel. Anyone have any thoughts on whether the tire needs to be replaced?

Not only does it need to be replaced but I wouldn't drive on it at all and certainly not on the highway. Imagine a blowout at 60 mph. ![EEK!](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif)
Put a spare on it and drive it to your local garage.
