NEED HELP WITH 20" TIRE SIZES

Hey all -

Just want to start off with a thanks for all the great information made available by this forum.

My issue is I have 20x9F, 20x10R sitting ready for tires, but all my choices are on national back order, so I need your help!

My choice was Hankook 245/30F; 285/25 rear, buy they are not available. Same with Michellins.

I'm looking at Nitto Invo, which I hear are not so great in wet conditions, but otherwise solid. Anybody recommend these?

Not interested in Pirelli Nero, but that seems to be the only other choice.

Don't know anybody who runs Falkens on an E, but those are available too.

BTW, I'm not dropping he car.

All recommendations are appreciated.
Thank you!

Only MBs - the best or nothing
If you're not lowering car, you may get away with using 295/25-20 rear on 10" wide wheel (offset must be spot on though). Then you can use 255/30-20 front. Those sizes are used on W212 E63 and C218 CLS550/63.
Hankook Ventus V12s are available in above sizes and are in stock at the TireRack.

I have run the Nitto Invo on 2 cars now and they are great in the rain.

I would recommend those always, I just ordered my new tires today and the wheels will be ready in a few days as well.

Thank you for your help MIA and ThreeMBs.

Between the Nitto and the Hankook, sounds like Nitto is recommended by MIA.

Any other thoughts out there?

Thank you.

Got the Invos today. Great looking tread pattern, but not sure I will keep them because the 285 is considerably smaller than a Euro made 285 and on a 10" wheel, it looks stretched.

Will definitely post pics when done. Thanks guys.

I ran into an opportunity that makes fitting a 295 rear a huge curiosity. What offset would be perfect to allow fitment?

Thank you for your insight! I know you are the goto on these matters threemb's!

I am currently running FK453 and both Hankooks V12 on my last set of wheels. I prefer the Falken FK453 over the V12's. I find the Falkens to be quieter and hugs the road more in cornering. One is made in Japan and the other from Korea. Both are great tires for the money but imo the FK453 edges out the V12's.
