It is a nice car. I bought a 2010 E550 with 14 000 miles first of the year for $53 000 trading my 2011 E350 in for $44 000. Also paid the difference with Amex card (without phone calls as I am a bit older...).
My car is Steel Grey with the same leather seat color as yours but my wood is black ash.
I also encourage you to add the trunk and roof spoilers as I have them and they really enhance the looks of the car.
I see your wheels are with 5-spokes, mine are with 6.
Someone wondered about the steering wheel. Mine is also non-sport 4-spoke steering wheel and I have seen some pictures with the 3-spoke. I like the 4-spoke better myself but what is the story here? Anybody? Why are some E550s equipped with the 3-spoke wheel?
Then I have this silly question to anybody who would know. The 2011 and later cars have the 115 V + 12 V outlets in the center console where the ash tray is in the 2010 model with the 12 V outlet. As the door that these are mounted to seems very similar would it be possible to replace mine with the door of a 2011 model that includes that 115 V outlet? Or should I start a new thread with this question?

Who is doing the detail? Are you having exterior washed, clayed, sealed, and then waxed or what treatment? Let us know how the ext/int turns out.

Yea I'm really hoping I nail the interviews. I did just sign a lease with some friends from school not quite sure I want to invest in something that big yet. Rather get some good toys

most of the older folks, including your parents, will think getting a house is always more important than getting a nice car. but i know it's something very hard to resist especially for young guys just came out of college making close to six figures. not trying to talk like your parents or give you a lecture which i don't think i'm qualified. but based on my what i see, i have friends driving very nice cars throughout the years but live in an old, very small condo w/another three family members. i also have friends driving not as nice cars but instead of changing cars, they are changing houses ! how can they do it? just because cars depreciate and houses appreciate (most of the time). i ain't no expert and don't want to say too much. i'm sure you know what you are doing. no matter what you do next, just let me know if you are having a pool side party .

Hey guys, quick question. For some reason today the 'touch door lock' thing wouldnt work at all for me, we all got out, shut the doors, and i touched the little area on the door handle, but nothing happened. made sure all the doors were closed, tried again, nothing. Even started and turned off the car again and still nothing, had to use the remote to lock it. It worked the past couple days, is there a setting i may have messed up or something?

Sometimes it does that. You might change the fob batteries. It's easy.
One other thing is make sure you are not inadvertently touching the unlock side at the same time you are locking it. Sounds silly, but I did it and one other poster having the same issue was doing it. Just point at the lock side and kept your othe fingers away. Or use the back of your hand, which is what I do.
Also you can lock by touching almost anywhere on the outside handle not just the small square. This means you can lock by hip-checking if your hands are full. Same with unlock. If you touch and hold the square it will close windows and the sunroof.

The other possibility is the battery on your keyfob is low but that is very unlikely on a car so new.
If anyone is in the DC area, try parking your car with keyless go in Tenleytown at 40th and Brandywine and watch your keyless go become absolutely useless

Well it just sprays it with soap. Sprays it with water. Then wax and another rinse. It's not one of those spinning brush ones

However starting with MY 2012, the new redesigned 3-spoke wheel has the incorporated vibration feature so it's no longer an issue. Distronic is a rare option on the E but a few did order this with the AMG Wheel Package and complained only to find out the above fact. Hence, MY 2012 has corrected that.

For MY 2010 and 2011 when you order Distronic (includes Blind Spot & Lane Keep Assist), it only comes with the 4-spoke wheel since this is the only steering wheel that incorporates the vibration feature that is utilized by the Lane Keep Assist. The wheel will vibrate if you drive outside your lane warning you are drifting off. If one were to order Distronic along with the AMG Wheel Package, they will lose the 3-spoke wheel.

I like the way the buttons are designed too . It not until I saw new styled 3 spoke wheels ,I preferred 3 over 4 spoke one
