Iphone question (4s)
I notice when paired with my car, my text messages come through silent on my iphone. It is not the worst idea safety wise, but my wife usually will read my messages to me if they come in. Is there a way to fix this? I searched the forum and nothing came up...
Thanks!!
Thanks!!

Does not have anything to do with Siri. Basically, when someone sends a text message when paired, the phone will not beep. It will beep if using bluetooth audio streaming through the speakers but not listening to any other source.
When the phone rings, it will ring through the speakers ok.
I assuming when paired, it will turn phone to silent and send sounds through speakers. Maybe the text message beep is too short.

Solved this problem. Just need to turn off Bluetooth audio streaming (which I never use)
-Hold down End Call + # + 1: opens Engineering Mode
- HW Settings
- HU Parameter
(3) BT audio: off
-back buttonx2
-pull command wheel down
- system reset
- reset - yes
