Hi everyone just went to dealer to get update on my car. And also wanted to throw in parktronic as i did not put it on the initial order. Its a good thing i did go today as tomorrow would have been the last day for any changes. I was told my car will be built sometime next week and will be at dealer a month later. The wait is killing me i ordered on may 9th. I would like to know how many others out there are waiting on a 2013 so i wont feel so bad about the wait. Thanks again to everyone on this forum for helping me decide to go MB goodbye BMW.

it's an exciting time: looking for accesories, mods, wheels, toys.....etc....

Thanks hype yep your right Iam already looking at some vossen cv3s. or the cv5s dont know if i want 20s in NYC pothole capital of the world. Oh and here is the build Diamond White metallic, Black leather, Black Ash, P2, Wheel Package, Parktronic, Roof + Trunk Spoiler, Ventilated Seats, 3 Spoke AMG steering wheel. I think thats it sorry my computer skills suck dont know how to do the list thing

I ordered my 2013 in the second week may. It was built June 19 (a week ahead of schedule). I got a little lucky cause they already had an order in place. They applied my options to the order already placed. Anyway, it got here on July 2. Should make it to the dealer in nj next week or the following week. Right now the thing on my mind is if July conquest, 3k, will be applied to my 2013. Dealer hasn't told me yet.

I know Iam in the same situation. I asked dealer about conquest he said it wont change until the 13s arrive. But there is no guarantee that they will include the 13s. So we will just have to wait and see what happens. I to was looking forward to the conquest money. And the USAA discount for july is only for the 12s till july 31. I hope you can talk to your dealer and see if he can help you out when the car comes in. I wish you the best of luck.

the wait is always the worst part of getting a new car but when you sit it and smell the new car smell, everything is well worth it ! btw, just out of curiosity, which bmw did you have and what made you change?

Hi BM I have a 328i coupe not a bad car just felt i needed something a little bigger. And a little more refined. I looked at the new 5 series but i like the MB better the ride is unbelievable. And no run flats on the MB

It would suck if they don't give some kind of conquest (maybe 2k or 1k instead of 3k). I would have ordered 2012 but that wasnt an option or bought a stock car but they couldn't find. Usaa will discount 2012 and 2013 at the same time. For instance this month you can get 3k off a 2012 sl550 and 2k off a 2013. It is a different situation but just sayin. Is the final decision by mb or the dealer? I was thinking about calling my if the dealer can't do anything.

Yes it would suck like i said when your car comes in talk to your salesman and see what he can do. Let him call MB and get the details on conquest for you. If he is unwilling to do anything for you tell him you wont pick the car up till august when Iam sure the 13s will be included. It might not be 3K like it is now but something is better than nothing.

Holding off til august is an option. Even 1k is something.

it's quite a change . you are one of the many who switch to mb because of run flats. hard to believe bmw is still so denial about the benefits of run flats. yes, it's safe to have but see how many customers had switched to mb and they still don't want to learn from it .

Thanks again for making me feel i made the right move. I also like the fact that i can check and change my own oil again. Iam not a big fan of letting the dealer do anything to my car.

I also am anxiously awaiting the arrival of my new E350. According to the dealer it was to be built on July 4th. I ordered a Luxury edition, Black exterior, Black Leather interior, P1 pkg, Wood & Leather steering wheel, Massaging driver seat and Ventilated front seats. I am expecting to get the USAA pricing. Can the Conquest cash you guys are referring to be used with the USAA discount?

Hi brenda no the two cannot be combined. It is one or the other would prefer USAA over conquest as that is a 4K discount. But as of right now anybody getting a delivery of a 2013 this month is out of luck. Neither one of them has been updated to 2013s as of yet. As i told BIGH123 if you are in a position to let dealer hold car till august Iam sure there will be incentives by then. Probably not as much as current but hopefully something.

Thanks for the information. My dealer is not expecting the 2013's to be released until mid August, so a July delivery is not an issue for me.

You are welcome brenda. Yes if your car was built on the 4th it probably wont be here till the first week of august. Hopefully things will be updated by then takes about a month to get here. If you get the VIN# you can track it through the shipping company.
