What is difference between rear bumper of E350 & E63

Hi guys,

This is my first post in this forum.
Firstly I should excuse for my weak English, 'cuz that's my second language.

I have an E300 AMG Style. that means my car's body is AMG but engine isn't.
About more than 20 days ago, I decided to buy these parts:
1. Rear Carbon Fiber Diffuser
2. Rear Carbon Fiber Trunk Spoiler
3. Quad Exhaust Tips
4. Sport Grill
5. AMG Trunk Badge
6. E63 Trunk Badge

I have contacted more than 10 companies active in this field.
Finally, I have selected two of them.
1. CKSPerformance (in GB)
2. Vorsteiner (UAE Agency)

I have sent them, my car's pictures(Also you can see them here)

Vorsteiner told me you should change your rear & front bumper + side skirts and replace them with E63.

CKSPerformance told me, No need to replace any part!

I'm confusing. What should I do?

These are my car' pictures:

I like your car's color
Original E63 has a different daylight styling opposed to hockey sticks in your ride as well
So, I do think you need to replace front bumper as well

yeah, the color is nice, and you got the Hockey drl's too..na-nice!

the lettering on your plates looks very cool.....
welcome to the boards

also, you have to be careful about what the companies tell you about the work,
I think they all think that everyone has a full service body shop at their disposal hehe....
I'd go the route where the least amount of parts had to come off..

good luck, looking forward to the pix...
hope you don't mind that I posted your car....

Thank you BenzV12, I like 'Palladium Silver' too.

Front bumper isn't important for me. I just want a diffuser at rear bumper!
What do you suggest? Rear bumper replacement needed?

The lettering on my plate from left to right are:

If you want, I can change my plate with you!

I agree with you. But they want DHL me all parts. I should pay taxes for custom. If something missing, it's hard for me to reorder missing parts.

you posted my car pix? I'm Gonna be a famous driver with a nice car

Rear diffuser ,I have not paid too much attention to E63's rear end but for normal AMG sport exteriors, diffusers come with black color by default
Being a palladium grey , lowest part of the rear will be black or you can have it painted if you like
I have seen wicked diffusers at ebay too

As you can see, my car's diffuser is same! with black color.
A day before yesterday I compared my car's rear bumper and E63 rear bumper in a picture. I couldn't find any difference.

Also I have seen those diffusers at Ebay. but I want qualified CF.

if i were to bet on it, i'd say only the rear apron lips are different due to the exhaust tips; AMG sport package and E63 AMG rear bumpers should be the same. but i guess that's what you're asking essentially.

i don't think anyone has the answer for you, unless someone has tried to install E63 AMG carbon fiber rear apron and succeeded who can tell you first hand.

if i were you, i wouldn't change a thing on the AMG sport package, it looks pretty good already. i upgraded mine to taiwan version of E63 AMG body kit because AMG sport package isn't available where i live.

good luck!

My country is different from media images!
Our government, for supporting Car companies, set 90% tariff for importing a car. After that you should pay 5% VAT.
It means you should pay twice in Iran.
But there is an important point!
if you ride in a street in Iran, you can see many many imported cars!

I agree with you, they should be the same! but I have confused when one company told me you should also buy Body kit and the other, told me you shouldn't.

I have an another idea, I wanna contact Mercedes Benz company and ask them.

After two days, finally I found the answer.

Please follow this instruction to see the answer:
go to http://www.mbusa.com/mercedes/vehicles/compare
Select E350 Sedan
From second column select Mercedes-Benz, E-Class and E63 AMG Sedan
Now you can compare E350 And E63.
Goto Dimensions tab.
Wonderful, sizes are different!!!

I'm sure E350 is same as mine(E300).

So, What do you think now? Should I change Rear Bumper to fixing the diffuser?
Is E63 Rear bumper suitable and fixable for me?

I think you should do a full E63 body conversion. Since there are no E63s in Iran you'll be the unique one. Replica E63 front/ rear bumpers are available online and even from vendors here on mbworld (Gary@suvneer for example). The carbon fiber diffuser will fit perfect. You can also obtain E63 stye exhaust tips to complete the look. I don't recommend badging the car E63 because people will be able to tell it is a fake.

Welcome and congrats on your new car:

I just completed the project that you want to do, and here is the link for it:

https://mbworld.org/forums/e-class-w...-new-post.html

Speak to Gary at Suvneer, he can get you most of the parts you need,. Good luck and please post pictures when you are done.

I also have over 200 pics of the transformation - PM if you want to see them.
