I checked the parts.com too, and they're a little cheaper.....
I don't need new ones.......was only wondering how much some more would
be so I could buy some; have them colored, and then have them put on my car
with out the hassle of having to take them off; have them colored, then put back on.....
would be much faster to just have some more on hand ready to go......
with the HRE's a week or so away I wanted to have some nicer looking calipers
for a sweeter look

makes complete sense to me! wow thats a hefty price. i dont know if i would spend that on something so simple. they arent AMGs for gods sake! but i guess it is what it is.... i like the wheels however!

very true eagle lex.....that is a bit to spend on such a small mod.....
but then I guess I could have the old ones colored too lol.....
just seems lame to have to have down time to wait for calipers to
'go out' and then 'come back'.....from a painter....
but after it was all finished I think it would look pretty nice to have
a really nice glossy caliper under there

Calipers
G2 Caliper paint my friend....you could do it yourself in a few hours - let it sit overnight and you are golden. Did it on my GS400 a few years ago...can't find the link on clublexus, but I will try to find some pics of it.

I have seen a lot of calipers that have been powdercoated....and they look really good. From everything I have read powdercoating seems to hold up better than painting. Don't have any experience myself. G2 has just recently started offering an almost unlimited number of custom colors.

Found the pics of my G2 caliper paint
Here ya go - hopefully my attachments work - sorry for the "dirty car" pics these were all I could find in the J Mo archives. I guess the only thing I'd be curios about is how to mask off the existing MB lettering in order to keep it, or getting decals made to embed in the G2 paint like I did with the Lex.
