Hey guys,
just got the her back from the shop, let me know what you guys think! I am loving the all black look so far Next up I am swapping out the matte black grill that I have on with a black gloss one and trying to narrow down some wheels. Hopefully she'll be complete in the next week or so.

Gloss black grill will def look way better, and I would also paint the chrome around the drl's.. All black look i think is ALL or nothing, to pull it off. Good luck

I hear you, I've been debating whether or not to have the chrome surrounds for the DRL painted black but I haven't seen pics of it done yet so I wasn't sure how it would look, if anybody did this mod on their 12' or 13' and has pics I would really appreciate seeing them so I can get an idea of it looks before I have them painted. I'm guessing I should get the door handle chrome trim done as well, which is ironic because I always commented on how cheap the handles on the P1 cars look without the chrome, but its all or nothing I guess! Thanks!

Hey Hype..not sure why that is, worked fine from my home computer but now when i tried to open it from work same thing, frozen screen. Ill try resizing them smaller when I get home. Also, sorry to hear about your accident man, love your black 550, seeing your pics is one of the reasons I switched to black when I traded in my 11'

I got my stock wheels powder coated, then got some HRE's instead.....
it's fun blacking everything out.....but so hard to keep clean!
good luck with the car!

Totally agree...I learned the hard way about black car ownership. You hear people say it but you think no way it can be that hard, it is THAT hard and then some! But nothing beats those 2-3 minutes that its spotless after you wash it..makes it all worth it..I think?

I have been toying with the idea of going to the white black look: kind of
like white cars do with black parts.....
having a black car, but with white wheels, spoiler, grill etc....
maybe I'll start that after paying the 4300 for my car to get fixed first LOL.......
and a diffuser for the cls

For the chrome around the windows my guy actually used Shadowline vinyl, very high gloss, as our window trim is very thin so it was easier to do this rather than remove the trim and risk it breaking. It looks great can't really tell that its vinyl and not paint. However, everything else was sprayed black and clearcoated. For the front grill and DRL surrounds especially you should probably go the paint route as they get a lot of abuse on the highway etc and i'm not sure how durable vinyl would be.

Yup, I have noticed the same thing as well , my compuer's screen . I waited and nothing happened , I closed and reopened the tab still same .
The very 1st one worked nicely though
I like chromes but this styling is nice too
