Oil Dipstick and lights
Just got a new to me 2011 E 350 4 matic.
(1) the oil dip stick in back is green with a flat top and the part number A27209 stamped on it ( the book shows thai it should be shaped as a little O that you put your finger trough), just want to make sure I have the right dip stick and not the one out of the disel.
(2) I have fog lights up front, dual lenses each side containing a fog lamp in one lenses and a small bulb in the other lenses on the same side. What position turns the small bulb turn on?

congrats on your new ride! not sure about the dipstick as i have yet opened the hood. as for the quad lights, two inner ones are fog and two outer ones are drl. just go to setting and enable drl and you'll see them on in daytime.

The head of my Bluetec's dipstick is round and flat, red, and has the diesel engine's code number (642) on top.The number on top is key...if it matches the code number of your vehicle's engine then you're fine.

You have not opened the hood yet?
I check engine oil every time I fill up just like the manual tells you to do.
My E550 is very good with oil as it does not burn any but not all engines are like this. I also change my oil at 5000 miles, which is not by the manual. I intend to keep my car as long as it runs...
