2012 E550 with RENNtech ECU
2012 E550 ECU Tune
Hey everyone,
I know the new twin turbo motor has left a lot of HP on the table, and I've been considering a tune. There are a couple companies that offer tunes, obviously RennTech (530 HP & 606 torque) for $2700, and EuroCharged (483HP & 533 torque) for $1550. I want to hear from folks who have experience with any tunes, I'm fearful of the RennTech tune blowing the trans as that's a lot of power..
I'm located outside NYC, anyone know of any shops in the NY area that tune MB's??

I did a Renntech tune to my E550 4 matic bi turbo. No problems, just stealthy fast now. Love it. Put real AMG 255/285 18 wheel on it too. Faster then the 63 NA.

The 255/285 x 18 came from my 2010 E63. Stock Amg for that year.

I'm debating either the above, or just factory size 245s Michelin Pilot Super Sports.
