yea, I cant believe this at all. I though that 30ish pricing should be more appropriate belong to a late w211 sedan than w212. But, anyway that's great deal on w212 if you are looking into getting one. Great color combo with low mileage too, grab it now.

If you go to the dealer's website, it is listed for $54,990. Obviously a misprint on Auto Trader.

yes,

when I open the link in OP message all I see is $54990 as the price. I don't think it is a good deal at all.

Yes, they corrected the price but are still saying it's $19,500 below NADA.

They also say it's a Lux and it's a Sport.

Mercedes e350 BlueTec
It's a base car.. Not even p1. I think that was the MSRP. Clearly a rip off deal to me....I wouldn't even shop at this dealer....

The interior photos show the navi screen so it must be at least P1, even though they don't mention it. It also has the wheel package so I make the MSRP $56,665. So they're offering less than $2K off for a used car! I'd feel like a sucker if I got that deal on a NEW one.

Don

IMO yes. I called them ( knowing full well it was a ruse) they confirmed availability and price (35k) until I said I wanted to make a deposit. The guy said that he would call me back in 20 min which of course he didn't. I called them back and surprise surprise the price was wrong. I told them that was an obvious bait and switch ploy and got bs about third party listing. The third party listing didn't put in great deal 19.5K off.

My post here was a bit of mischief hoping that other members would blowup their phone calling about it.

I sent a copy of the add to Mercedes with my accounting of the phone conversation

What a lousy ploy by the dealer.

And their asking price is even a bad deal for a brand new one, with how much discount price slashing goes on with the E-Classes.

it's not a bad thing to do but i think all the sites and dealers always have the smaller-than-dust disclaimers. they won't responsible for misprints or something like that. so they might give you a slightly better discount but definitely won't be $35k. like what most members said, i'd rather go to another dealer and start from scratch.
